The state in which hypnosis occurs. Trance is a normal, natural state and will probably feel no different from relaxation. Hypnosis is all about learning to go into trance, the more you learn, the deeper you will go and the greater the benefit of hypnotic suggestion.

Always in control

All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, you will remain in charge throughout, the hypnotherapist is there as your personal guide to positive change. A client will not do anything that is in conflict with their values and beliefs.
